This document explains what cookies and similar technologies are, the purposes for which the lightbay.shop shop uses them, and how the user can manage their choices. The Policy supplements the LIGHTBAY.SHOP Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small text files or information stored on the user’s device or read from it while using the website. They allow, among other things, the maintenance of a session, remembering the contents of the basket, securing the shop, measuring traffic and, with consent, analysing the effectiveness of advertising.
Similar technologies include, among others, browser local storage, pixels, tags and online identifiers. If an identifier, IP address or information about activity makes it possible to identify a user directly or indirectly, they may constitute personal data.
Cookies may be session cookies deleted after the browser is closed, or persistent cookies stored for a specified period or until deleted. They may originate from LIGHTBAY (first-party cookies) or from an external provider (third-party cookies).
2. Legal basis for the use of cookies
Cookies and similar technologies necessary for the proper operation of the Shop may be used without separate consent where this is required to deliver the service requested by the user, ensure security, maintain the basket or remember privacy choices.
Analytical cookies, non-essential functional cookies and advertising cookies are activated after consent is given in the cookie banner. If the information obtained through them constitutes personal data, the legal basis for their processing is consent under Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. Consent may be withdrawn at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

4. Tools and providers present in LIGHTBAY.SHOP
The Shop uses the following tools that may employ cookies or similar technologies:
WooCommerce – operation of the shop, sessions, basket, orders and attribution of the visit source. Cookies necessary for the basket and completion of purchases belong to the essential category; traffic attribution has been assigned to statistics.
WPConsent Cookies Banner & Privacy Suite – display of the banner, recording and enforcing the user’s choices, and blocking scripts until consent is obtained.
Google Site Kit, Google Tag and Google Analytics – measurement of traffic, events, forms and purchases. The Google Tag identifier visible on the site: GT-NB3ZXRS6. Analytics should operate after consent.
Google AdSense / Google advertising technologies – display or measurement of advertisements; the public page code contains the publisher identifier ca-pub-8701461222288587. Advertising storage and personalisation should remain disabled until consent is given.
Hostinger Reach – handling of the newsletter subscription form and transfer of the e-mail address after voluntary sign-up. Newsletter subscription itself requires a separate legal basis and communications consent.
Contact Form 7 – handling of contact forms; the form may transmit the data provided but should not independently activate marketing cookies without consent.
LiteSpeed Cache – acceleration and technical optimisation of the site; may use technical cookies depending on the active configuration.
5. Example cookies and identifiers
The exact list may change with updates to WordPress, WooCommerce and external services. The following groups of names may in particular appear in the Shop:

The above table is for information purposes only. The binding, up-to-date list of names, providers, purposes and durations should be generated by the scanner in the cookie settings panel on the basis of an actual scan of the Shop.
6. How to manage consents?
- On the first visit, select “Accept”, “Reject” or go to the detailed settings in the cookie banner.
- To later change or withdraw consent, use the floating cookie settings button visible in the Shop or the “Cookie settings” link in the footer, if provided.
- You may also delete and block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may, however, prevent logging in, retaining the basket or placing an Order.
Withdrawal of consent should be as easy as giving it. Refusal of analytical or marketing cookies does not block access to the Shop or the ability to make a purchase.
7. Google Consent Mode and transfer of data outside the EEA
The Shop uses the Google Consent Mode mechanism. Until the user makes a choice, consents relating to, among others, analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization are set as denied for users from Poland and other indicated European countries. The status may change in accordance with the choice made in the banner.
Technology providers, in particular Google, may process data outside the European Economic Area. In such cases the mechanisms provided for in the GDPR are applied, for example a European Commission decision establishing an adequate level of protection or standard contractual clauses together with additional safeguards where required. Details can be found in the privacy policies of the relevant providers.
8. Data collected by means of cookies
Depending on the consents given, the following may be processed: IP address, cookie or device identifier, browser and system type, approximate location, entry source, pages visited, products searched for and viewed, basket events, interactions with forms, and information on campaign effectiveness. LIGHTBAY does not use cookies to obtain full payment card data.
This information may be combined with Order data only to the extent resulting from the configuration of the tools, the consents given and applicable law. Detailed information on the user’s rights can be found in the LIGHTBAY.SHOP Privacy Policy.
9. Changes to the cookie policy
The Policy may be updated in the event of changes to the law, the Shop’s configuration, cookie categories or providers. The current version is published on lightbay.shop with an indication of the date. After a material change to purposes or providers, the user may be asked again to make a choice of consents.
